Manish Jain

Fallibilist, Refutationist, Systems Thinker, Techno-Social Problem Solver
Manish Jain is an Applied Organizational Theorist and founder of SystemsWay. His journey began with a simple yet profound question: Why do people suffer in systems they themselves have created? This inquiry extended to why employees complain about workplace systems they helped develop, and why citizens are dissatisfied with their country's systems. Despite having the power to fix these systems, people often experience issues like poor quality, low productivity, and failed projects, almost as if they were sabotaged by outsiders

Manish realized that the root of the problem lies in a fundamental misunderstanding of ways in which systems work. People instinctively create systems but fail to understand their ways of workings. He established SystemsWay to educate others on the intricacies of systems and the crucial roles designers, operators, and managers play in success of system of which they themselves are part of.. I highly recommend Manish Jain’s Systems Thinking Workshop for its engaging curriculum and thought-provoking challenges and its value in promoting systems thinking as a crucial tool for innovation in a company. By learning to approach issues from a systems perspective, attendees can break down silos and see the interconnectedness of all aspects of a business. This mindset leads to more effective problem-solving and a greater ability to become change-makers within their organization....Once you’ve gone through this workshop, you can no longer ignore ineffective systems. Manish is a true thinker and an excellent and incredibly applied teacher. He lives and breathes systems thinking, bringing value to every conversation and interaction. I highly recommend Manish’s workshop(s) to anyone looking to expand their knowledge and understanding of systems thinking and its value in driving change.

.... met Manish in his Systems Thinking Workshop ... no other external source has had a more profound impact on the way I think or act. He has done so simply through debate, discourse and dialogue...Workshop that Manish created and runs is incredibly engaging...I left this workshop with a new set of theoretical tools that I can use to tackle any problem, a rekindled passion to pursue my purpose and goals, ... take a more active approach to solving or dissolving problems in my personal and professional life. I know Manish has had a similar impact on other people... I consider myself very lucky to know him

.... I was prepared for an eventful hands-on training. But what I got was a minds-on training. He literally made all who attended to pause and think. He made us realize, with undeniable scientific evidence, that we have been doing so many things wrong, not just at professional life but also in personal life. He set us up in a trajectory, to gain infinite knowledge and my life changed after that.

I have seen him influence, coach and challenge people across the organization, across all levels. I have seen collogues who transformed because of him and solve complex systemic problems. He understands how organizations work. He understands how the world works.  Manish is one of a kind and I know he will one day make a larger impact in the whole world for the better. I am so glad that I got me meet him and I recommend his training to everyone.

...I had the profound opportunity to attend Systems Thinking Workshop and learn from Manish...truly grateful for opportunity to review and reflect on my mental models and develop a little more Systems Thinking Awareness. Manish has craftily created a curriculum that re-enables one’s ability to THINK. I understand that it takes years to truly become a skilled systems thinker. I know that I must first focus inward to fix myself and take responsibility to observe the signals and systems around me. I am to specify the problem statement, develop a mental model and collaborate with others who will refute and thus refine that model, and forever strike “unintended side-effects” from my vocabulary. Of course, it is not that simple, and I now have a brighter path to knowledge and understanding before me. I highly recommend Manish Jain and his systems thinking workshop. It is well worth your time and effort.

Most people who attend his workshop call it life-changing. His workshops have been life-changing for me. I strongly recommend Manish’s Systems Thinking workshop to everyone and recommend executives take his coaching advice. He has the power to change your understanding of the systems to which problems belong and open you to possibilities that you have not seen before.

Beware of engaging in conversation with Manish! He is one of the best bulls**t detectors I have encountered in my life. His ability to refute and cut through the nonsense to get to the root of the issue is remarkable.

Pratik Surana

Managing Director of Cybersecurity @ JP Morgan Chase

He possesses a rare ability to see through difficult challenges, assisting others in uncovering the underlying dynamics and interdependencies. I have seen Manish influence so many members (from experienced  C-level leaders to Engineers to Interns starting their journey in technology), and it has been a true honor to learn from  him
